Cambrils

The town of Cambrils on the well-known Costa Daurada has become one of the main tourist destinations in Tarragona and the Catalan coast over the years.

The arrival of thousands of tourists has resulted in the growth of the services industry and the construction of excellent hospitality and services infrastructure.

The port area of Cambrils has become one of the town's main areas, offering a wide variety of services and entertainment in addition to the chance to buy fish (fishing boats still sail into this port with fresh catches). Tourists will be able to mix with the locals as well as people from neighbouring towns and villages who visit Cambrils every day.

One of Cambrils' main characteristics is its magnificent beaches. Over the years, they've attracted a huge number of national and international tourists who continue to return to the town to enjoy a relaxing holiday accompanied by the services they require, an excellent climate and the wonderful Mediterranean diet the Costa Daurada is renowned for.

The beaches in Cambrils have fine, golden sand and the sea is not that deep. This makes the beaches extremely popular among tourists and residents alike. The town has a favourable, Mediterranean climate with temperatures ranging from 10ºC (in winter) to 30ºC (in summer) and accompanied by sunny days throughout the year.

Near the town, you will find Parc Samà. This park was constructed under the orders of the Marquis de Mariano in 1882. It has a palace and a large garden with a pond. It's the perfect place for a wonderful evening in the midst of nature's beauty.
